The Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Council Canada’s governing body for all communications mandated that all Canadian Wireless companies offer Wireless Number Portability to all their customers by March 14th, 2007.

The Secure channel project is the development and implementation of the Government Online (GOL) infrastructure for PWGSC. This involves design and build of an internet/intranet web portal as well as the deployment of an Operations Control Center (OCC) for the ongoing support and maintenance of the web portal environment.

The focus of Wireless Number Portability is that any Canadian wireless customer will be able to move their account from any carrier to the other and retain their present cell number.

For Bell Mobility, this is their largest single project of the year valuing. The challenge faced by Bell Mobility was finding resources which would be able to assist them in delivering WNP while not putting their existing lines of business in jeopardy. I4C was able to find them some of the top resources in the world who seamlessly integrated in to their environment to work on delivering towards the March 2007 deadline.
