Scope: i4C Consulting successfully completed the advanced development of a National Database estimation model, moving it from a prototype phase to full operational capacity.
Objective: Our consultant’s objective was to enhance the model’s depth and breadth, integrating more estimators into various data elements. The project involved meticulous review and improvement of the existing prototype, followed by a structured implementation within the agreed timeline and budget.
Background: The database faced challenges with timely data collection across jurisdictions. Our consultant was brought in to finalize the innovative estimation model, initiated in 2019, addressing this by generating accurate estimates using historical data and current indicators, ensuring the continuity of statistical outputs despite data delays.
Outcomes: The enhanced model now accurately forecasts data for missing years and provides advanced insights, significantly improving the government department’s data analysis capabilities.
