Our partner, a gas distribution company, was originally looking for a resource to replace a departing employee. They needed an expert resource who could handle all aspects of SAP Security, including security governance, business analysis, projects/operations, and configuration.

Solution

i4C was able to offer a team of four SAP resources, giving the client’s team access to analysts and experts in different specialties at a reasonable rate. This team of SAP security experts worked with the partner’s SAP and IAM (Identity and Access Management) teams. 

The services / deliverables provided included:

• Business analysis and coaching in the implementation of access management practices among other things, based on risk.
• Monitoring the implementation of S4/HANA and GRC (Governance and Control).
• Providing support for the SAP and GIA security teams and the internal audit team.

i4C hired a consultant with an SAP Security team, and he leveraged his team, providing management of the project. The SAP consultant worked as an architect as required and leveraged his team to provide business analysis, technical support, and development. As an expert in the SAP Security sector, the I4C consultant worked with the client and brought in resources as required to successfully deliver the work.

Throughout the duration of the placement / contract, the I4C Account Manager managed the relationships with both the workers and the client, checking in regularly, providing updates, addressing and mitigating issues that may arise, and fostering strong relationships

Results 

Due to the success of the recruiting, i4C still works with the company on permanent and contract placements.
